Play Therapy in Schools
Presently, more than ever, teachers are trying to support children suffering with un supported mental health issues, emotional and/or behavioral difficulties within the classroom environment. Children spend the majority of their day in school, learning, socializing, developing and shaping their individuality, self esteem and confidence.
Play therapy in the school environment can:
help children's social and emotional development, building positive peer and teacher relationships. help children explore and experience more appropriate ways of expressing themselves emotionally thereby reducing behaviors that challenge. Provide support and resources to teaching staff.
